FIRE-RATED ROLLUP SERVICE DOORS
Rollup fire doors are rated structural fire barriers that help block the spreading of hazardous fire and smoke by compartmentalizing a building space and keeping the event isolated. Many buildings today mandate the placement of rolling steel fire doors as a standard safety precaution.
The Firemiser Insulated Rolling Fire Door is perfect for an exterior application and reduces sound transfer thanks to mineral wool insulation. Mineral wool insulation also minimizes thermal transfer, which can help you with temperature control inside your building. Opt for the SmokeShield™ seal package for your fire-rated door if you’re required to conform to UL 1784 or want an additional barrier to eliminate smoke migration throughout your building.

VERTICAL MOVEMENT
The opening vertical rise movement is followed by a simultaneous tilting and rising motion to the horizontal full open position, with the bottom portion of the door projecting outside to form a canopy.

VERSATILITY
Typical designs include a hinged upward acting swing door for passage of the bridge crane and swinging or bottom rolling load doors below. Craneway Doors can be manufactured in sizes up to 125’ W x 30+’ H. Flexibility is offered in the sliding material choice used to cover the door section.

Due to the system’s elevation, this product is built resilient against strong wind loads. Secure operating movement is assured.
SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE
Most apparent in design is Door Engineering’s capability to provide a custom fit around the crane rail. This product is fabricated from structural steel sections and cold-formed steel girts. The heavy-duty cables and double drive operator chains increase safety when the top door section is lifted. An automatic magnetic brake holds the door in open position, and the automatic latching lock arms brace the door when closed. The panels are notched around the crane rails and include adjustable seals to effectively seal to the building.
